Conditions of Boarding for Kennels

Booking/Payment Terms
All fees are payable on exit at Pets Haven. We accept payment by Cash or Cheque, NO card payments are accepted.
Any deposits taken prior to your pets arrival is nonrefundable under any circumstances and is off set against administration time.
Your dog(s) kennel will be available from 9.00am to 4.00pm on your arrival day. Our charges are calculated to include your arrival day regardless of what time you arrive. We prefer your dog(s) to arrive as early as possible to help them settle and experience a full day with our staff, especially if it is their first time.
You will not be charged for your pets exit day if you collect your pet between 9.00am and 12.00pm. Any pet collected between 12.01pm and 4.00pm will be charged for the exit day.
Inoculations/Vaccinations
To be accepted into the kennels, all dogs must be fully inoculated according the veterinary establishments current recommended requirements. They must be in date and administered within the last 12 month period. Certificates must be seen prior to boarding.
Canine Infectious Bronchitis
Although we do not insist dogs are inoculated against kennel cough, we strongly recommend you discuss the matter with you veterinary surgeon. If you decide to administer the kennel cough vaccine, this must be administered at least two weeks prior to boarding.
Temperament/Condition
All animals must be of a pleasant temperament, fit and in good condition. In the event of your pet falling ill during boarding we reserve the right to call a veterinary surgeon. You must also agree for us to administer any advice/medication given to us by the vet. In every instance we will endeavor to use your preferred veterinary practice as mentioned overleaf. However you agree that if for whatever reason this is not possible, your pet will be taken to the nominated vet as agreed with Pets Haven (Newton-Clark Partnership).
If you have more than one pet sharing a kennel you agree for Pets Haven to act on your behalf for your pet’s welfare where we feel it is necessary, including isolating and separating from their own family members if the need arises.
Belongings
We can supply everything that your pets needs for his/her stay with us. You are welcome to bring along anything that you feel may help your pet to settle and feel comfortable with our kennels, however, we accept no responsibility for loss or damage to any item.
Feeding requirements
You agree to Pets Haven feeding your pet(s) as mentioned overleaf. Please update us of any changes to this information in writing.
Cancellation Policy;
Any cancellations received within 14 days of commencement of the booking, will incur a charge of 50% of the total booking cost. With the exception of Christmas and New Year bookings which will be charged at 100% of the booking cost, if cancelled within 21 days of the start of the booking

I understand that while every care will be given to my pet/s. It is/they are boarded entirely at my own risk. I further agree that if my pet/s is not collected within 14 days of the date on which I have stated departure and that Pets Haven have not received any communication from me or my representative, I authorise Pets Haven to notify the dog warden to commence re-homing procedure.
I also confirm that by signing this form Pets Haven can use any photos they take of my pets on their social media account.
